Wispalo Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these Terms
By using Wispalo, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. What Wispalo is
Wispalo is operated by Empiire Ltd (“Wispalo,” “we,” “us,” “our”), a company registered in the United Kingdom. Wispalo generates personalised bedtime stories for children, based on details provided by a parent or guardian.
3. Who can use Wispalo
Wispalo accounts must be created and controlled by a parent or guardian, aged 18 or over. Children do not create their own accounts or provide their own consent.
4. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation
Wispalo Plus is a recurring monthly subscription, billed automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through your account settings; your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period, after which it will not renew. Single-story purchases are one-time payments for one additional story.
5. Refunds
Because Wispalo stories are generated instantly and are unique to your request, we're generally unable to offer refunds once a story has been generated. If you believe something has gone wrong with your order or billing, contact us at hello@wispalo.com and we'll look into it fairly. This does not affect any statutory rights you may have under UK consumer law.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Wispalo to generate content that is unlawful, harmful, or intended for anyone other than your own family's personal use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that misuse the service.
7. Content you provide
Any photos, names, or details you upload remain yours. By uploading them, you grant Wispalo a limited licence to use them solely to generate your requested stories and illustrations. You confirm you have the right to upload any photo you provide, including of children or other family members.
8. Generated stories
Stories and illustrations generated for your account are yours to read, save, and share personally. They're generated using AI and may not be reproduced for commercial purposes without our permission.
9. Our intellectual property
The Wispalo name, logo, branding, and underlying technology belong to Empiire Ltd and may not be copied or used without permission.
10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Wispalo is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep content safe and appropriate, but as AI-generated content, we cannot guarantee it will be error-free in every instance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Empiire Ltd's liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before any claim.
11. Ending your account
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use of Wispalo after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
